Meet Julie

Julie Pruneda,

psychotherapist.

I believe healing is not something we force — it’s something we create the conditions for. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, presence, and an unwavering belief in the wisdom of the body and the resilience of the people I meet.
For more than a decade, I’ve sat with adults and couples through some of the hardest seasons of their lives — PTSD, anxiety, grief, the long shadow of childhood experiences, and the quiet weight that doesn’t always have a name. My approach is gentle, attuned, and deeply collaborative.

My Philosophy

Healing happens in relationship.

The name Occam reflects a guiding belief: the simplest path to healing is often the truest one. Not the fastest — but the one that honors who you really are.
I draw from EMDR, somatic approaches, IFS, and attachment-based therapy. But more than any method, I bring my full presence — a steady, kind companion as you do the brave work of remembering, integrating, and softening into yourself again.
You’re allowed to take your time here. There is no script. Only you, your story, and a space designed to hold both with care.
